Match Fishing - Seniors
The match calenders for 2024 can be opened using the link in the side bar or at the bottom of the page for those using a mobile device.
All members are welcome to fish the matches. The matches are not taken too seriously and take place in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of banter and fun!! Please contact the Match Secretary, Eddy Hegarty, up to one prior to a match to book on.
The first match of the season is the Work Party Trophy. Although the match is open to all members, only those who have attended a work party can actually win the trophy and acquire points for the league. Work party dates will be announced in the near future in the News section.
This year we have four away matches planned in 2024 at Bradshaw Hall Fisheries which is within a 45 minute drive away. We have two on lake 3 and two on lake 4 and again full details about these ponds can be found on their website. To book on a match please contact the Senior Match Secretary. Book on early to avoid disappointment!

Once again we will endeavour to arrange a challenge match against Rochdale Walton Angling Society for 2024. The top 8 anglers on points in the Championship just prior to the match will qualify to fish.
